I had brunch with a friend today. She is getting ready to bail her employer of 15 years. Her talent is multi faceted, she expanded her department’s targets in terms of successful outcomes with more recruits, more partners and keen stakeholders. She is a dynamite networker and the most creative problem solver, except for me of course. Why is she contemplating ending her work relationship?
She is excluded from authentic decisions. She has never felt recognized within her team. No one has commented on the impact of her tireless commitment. She is too nice and has been taken for granted for too long, I’m thinking.
